Made exclusively for veterinarians, the Cardell Veterinary Monitor has become the leader in arterial blood pressure monitoring due to reliability, accuracy and ease of use. Since their introduction over four years ago, Cardell Veterinary Monitors have been used to assess patient condition in surgery, detect hypertension, and get a baseline reading in routine physicals.

Provides systolic, diastolic; mean arterial pressure and heart rate in seconds.
High and low alarm setting for all parameters.
STAT mode provides continuous readings for five minutes with 10 second pause between.

The Model 9403 includes Cardell� blood pressure technology and Nellcor�s OxiMax� pulse oximetry with highly advanced, all-digital signal processing to handle motion and low perfusion. Also incorporated is a selectable ECG lead system, respiration rate and a temperature capability. (Temp probe not included)

The Cardell MAX-1 veterinary multiparameter monitor is packed with �World Class� parameter components, a full color l0.4� wide-view screen and a built-in high resolution printer.
The MAX-1 contains the world leading Cardell veterinary blood pressure technology, Nellcor�s all-digital Oximax� pulse oximetry, and Oridion�s Microstream� CO2 technology. These are complimented by a diagnostic quality ECG (3 or 5 lead), respiration via CO2, two temperature outputs and two invasive BP channels. Most parameters have custom algorithms developed especially for veterinarians.
The high contrast color display features an extremely wide viewing angle. Up to four waveforms can be displayed at one time, or three waveforms and the last five tabular trends.
The menu is extra user-friendly with monitor and patient settings easily changed using the soft keys. There�s no confusing multi-layered menu accessed by a trim knob.
The MAX -1 can also output an anesthesia report record to a user�s PC that meets AAHA standards, and is compatible with the popular practice management software.

Nellcor�s all-digital new OxiMax� technology provides SpO2 values even in low perfusion and during patient motion, and when you need it most - when your patient is in trouble! A lingual sensor is provided along with two sizes of clips. An optional tail-wrap reflectance sensor is also available..

The monitor comes with a 3-lead system, and optional 5 lead set. Features: 4 gain size selections, diagnostic and filtered modes, programmable alarms, & Trace Freeze Mode.
Microstream� CO2 Technology Offers Accuracy in Small Patients
The Oridion Microstream technology overcomes the limitation found in other sidestream CO2 monitors. It has a low sample flow rate of 50 ml/min to eliminate problems associated with monitoring CO2 in animals with small lung volumes...probably half your patients! The 50 ml/min sample flow rate, along with the filter, also reduces the potential moisture problems in the sample line. Three Microstream FilterLine sets are included: two regular size, and one for very small animals and exotics with dead space as low as .35 ml.

Temperature & Respiration
Core body temperature measurements are available through a YSI 40 Series esophageal/rectal probe. A second temperature connection is also available and alarms may be set for each temperature channel. Respiration is derived from the CO2 line.. Veterinary Specific Alarm Defaults
Designed specifically for veterinary medicine, the Cardell MAX-1 comes with default alarm settings configured especially for animals. Alarm limits can be changed at any time and the monitor will remember these changes the next time the monitor is turned on.
